Hi Family!
Before I forget....Merry Christams!! I hope that this week can you take the opportunity to visit or call someone that you have been thinking about :)
Everything is great here :) This week we sang so many Christmas songs for so many people. We had a Christmas devotional with half of our mission and it was like a zone conference. It was so cool and I learned so much. They talked a lot about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how simple and important it is to have it and to apply it in our lives. They also talked about angles and how they are all around us helping us. President Felix and his wife invited us to pray to have these angles help us. I have been praying for their help this week and I have felt and seen them. I invite you all to do the same and I promise you will see a difference. :)
There is a street in Oxnard that is called "F street" and every year, and every year all the houses there put a ton of Christmas lights and lots of people walk to see the houses and the people there sell chocolates, and sweets, and everything. So, we went this week (because there is a member that lives on that street) and we were singing Christmas songs while we passed out cards that say, "A Savior has been Born." It was a really nice experience and we were able to talk to a lot of people about the video. We passed out 200 cards!
Also, another cool thing that happened is that some members gave us a little Christmas tree with lights, about 4 feet tall. We were so excited to finally have a Christmas tree in our apartment. But after thinking about it, we decided to give it to a family that doesn't have a Christmas tree. They don't know that it was us who left it at their doorstep, but it was so cool to leave it and then to listen and see how excited they were to have a Christmas tree. Especially the little kids :)
Well, I have so many things to tell this week, but not enough time. But I hope that you all have a great Christmas. Enjoy the time with your families and your loved ones. We are living in a marvelous time with so many blessings. I am so grateful for each of you and for all the people in my life.
Also, this week I've been thinking about what gift I can give to Jesus Christ this year. If it should be something that I give up, or something that I will dedicate more time to.....I already have something in mind. I invite each of you to think of something yourselves....that you will give you Christ this year.
I love you all so much!!
